Skin was founded in 2003, with a simple belief: every woman deserves to feel at ease in what she wears, every single day. More than twenty years on, that belief is still the heart of everything we make.
Why Skin exists
Too many luxury brands were made for celebrities and an idealized kind of beauty. Skin was made for the everyday woman.
So Skin was built differently. Not around trends or famous faces, but around real women and how their clothes feel on their skin. We believe feeling comfortable in your own skin is not a luxury; it’s required.

That is why Skin has always blurred the lines: pajamas worn as daywear, loungewear for slow mornings, and intimates that work with your natural shape rather than against it. Pieces that take you from sleep to lunch, and from day to night.
What our pieces are made from
Your skin is the largest organ of your body. We think it deserves soft, natural fabrics every day.
We choose natural fibers for how they feel and how they last. Our signature is organic Pima cotton: extra-long fibers make it smoother, softer and more durable than standard cotton, breathable enough to sleep in and soft enough to live in. Alongside it you’ll find delicate pointelle, airy cotton voile, relaxed linen cotton and washable silk.
Where and how they’re made
Over 90% of our pieces are made with small, family-owned factory partners in Peru, each one chosen for its commitment to ethical work. We make them to honor every hand they pass through, from farmer to fiber-maker, and craftsman to you.
Our next chapter
Since 2003, Skin has grown from a single collection of essentials into a lifestyle brand of sleepwear, loungewear, intimates and clothing, loved around the world, from New York to our pajama parties in Cannes. Through it all, the idea has stayed the same: simple, beautiful pieces that feel good on your skin.
Today, a new team is carrying those same beliefs forward, with a renewed focus on natural fabrics, careful making and the women who wear Skin every day.
